STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Our offer is based upon continued access to the works during normal working hours, which are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.

2. Our offer is a fixed price and open for acceptance for a period of 60 days from the date of the quotation.

3. Payment for the works is to be received within 7 days from date of invoice.

4. No allowance has been made for painters/decoration unless otherwise stated.

5. No allowance has been made for floor covering unless otherwise stated.

6. Where work involves the opening of walls or ceilings, no allowance has been made should it be found necessary to divert pipework or cables that are exposed unless otherwise stated.

7. Where it may be necessary to lift carpets and floorboards we will make every effort to re-lay carpets to a satisfactory standard. However no allowance has been made for a professional carpet fitter to attend.

8. We assume that, where appropriate, your existing pipework, radiators, pumps, hot water cylinders and heating boiler are all in good working order.

9. Where work is carried upon heating systems, no allowance has been made for any return visits to further air or bleed pipework or radiators. These will be charged at our hourly rate.

10. Where payment is made by credit card a 3% surcharge will be applied.

11. Unpaid accounts will be applied with an administration charge of £45 plus interest at a rate of 10% per month.

12. Any costs associated with the recovery of unpaid accounts will be added to the outstanding amount.

13. Any goods supplied remain the property of John Mutch Building Services Ltd until paid for in full.

14. Where a quotation offers a number of activities, we reserve the right to review our prices should only part of the quotation be accepted.
